Rightwing it's just common sense really...u cant fight terrorist and then start acting like terrorist dictating to ppl what they can wear...its just conflict of interest, in secular democracy which i support all people can wear what they want as long as it is not public and safety issue...niqab is safety issue because anyone can be wearing a bomb, or be robber, or someone who is hiding from police...so that is why i think that has no place in society...but hijab, jilbab is ok as long as u can see the face..

but you contridicted yourself. if people are allowed to chose what they wear, the veil should not be banned then! the veil is part of the islamic religion, just because is not khasab, dont mean we have the right to ban it!

How did i contradict myself? i said ppl can wear what they choose as long as its not public or safety issue.. For example u can't have man running around naked in the streets because this is totally rude and society doesn't approve of it...so thats public reason....niqab is the one i said that needs to be banned because it is safety issue...osama bin laden can walk around with niqab in somalia and nooone will know who it is..it causes safety issue, thats probably why they haven't caught that son of bitch...

So i don't know how i contradicted myself, the niqab has to be banned because its safety issue for the public.. a person wearing niqab can hide himself from police, and more scary they can hide dangerous things to harm others..what if police is looking for killer and the killer is walking around fine in the city with niqab noone knows who he or she is...u see its safety issue..thats what i said that the niqab needs to be banned becaus u can confirm their identities..

As for the hijab and jilbab u can see their face so even if their hiding something dangerous under there, we know how the person face looks when they will be arressted..thats why if they chooose to wear jilbab or hijab go right ahead as long as we can't confirm your identity and face...

Cusmano: in the same thread u said
But only one thing needs to be banned and thats the niqab and that is for public safety reasons, anyone can be in that niqab and carry a bomb or be a theif...so yeah that one needs to go...
and

so i was confused in whether you have liberal veiw or not when it comes to the dress code of muslim women.

anyways you cannot make it haraam what allah has already made halaal and visa versa! to ban the veil means you going against the laws of allah. women should feel free to wear the veil if they want to. and no government or admintration should tell them otherwise!

the somali xijaab is one of the most beautiful xijabs i have seen around the world. style should be the last thing on the mind of someone looking to please allah. but this somali xijab is so attractive and good looking, christian woman in minnesota are having second thoughts about wearing one. some have even turned into a fashion symbol where the goona is different from the top part, or some wearing it with guntiino or dirac, aah, just writing this lines, i can picture few xijaabiis that come into mind

Many Somali women are too homely anyways. Let them wear their Hijabs, Niqabs, burqas and spare our eyes.
