To be honest I was completely taken back by that line. I think that was probably the onyl line in the whole speech that threw me off. Were people top tired to check the speech completely? That lime made no sense.

Civil resistance in a singular state is one thing, but not resistance against a foreign enemy. No amount of sit ins and we shall preserve would have made the Nazis leave France and the rest of Europe. It made no sense.
