Most of her novels start of pretty slow. Don’t give up though. P&P is positively romantic, hilarious and witty.

one of my Fav reads ever .. i was really addicted to this book back in 2006, my cousin from usa had it with him..

here are some of my Fav laws --

Law 4

Always Say Less than Necessary

When you are trying to impress people with words, the more you say, the more common you appear, and the less in control. Even if you are saying something banal, it will seem original if you make it vague, open-ended, and sphinxlike. Powerful people impress and intimidate by saying less. The more you say, the more likely you are to say something foolish.

Law 9

Win through your Actions, Never through Argument

Any momentary triumph you think gained through argument is really a Pyrrhic victory: The resentment and ill will you stir up is stronger and lasts longer than any momentary change of opinion. It is much more powerful to get others to agree with you through your actions, without saying a word. Demonstrate, do not explicate.

Law 21

Play a Sucker to Catch a Sucker – Seem Dumber than your Mark

No one likes feeling stupider than the next persons. The trick, is to make your victims feel smart – and not just smart, but smarter than you are. Once convinced of this, they will never suspect that you may have ulterior motives.

Voltage, most of the time i use number 21, trust me its always good to play dumb, u'dd be suprised things people reveal when they dont see u as a threat to anything, and to watch them make complete fools of themselfes on a later date -- laakin adiga how u gonna bring action to ur arguments, sounds like u gonna have to make Youtube videos to back up all ur arguments from now

That’s something you’re going to come across a lot if you bother reading the classics. Keep in mind these books were written well before photography and cinema as well as when most people never traveled more than a few miles from where they were born so long explanations and use of imagery was extremely important when writing a novel.

I also would luv to draw pics of rural Somalia, but I don't have much time for drawing classes.

I have a good childhood memories of a small town called Leego (between xamar and Baidhabo) Man was it beautiful when it has rain.

Hoowle we are still waiting for your response in the science thread.

Sorry sir, but I'm not Hoowle. Now, if you are burning to debate with with ME, then respectedly demand so. I'm more than willing to start a debate thread and invite you to battle for what you have to say and witness will be all. If that, on the other hand, isn't the case, and you mistakenly thought I'm Hoowle, then wait for him to reply (if he already didn't).
