this guy-a respected bearded brother-was asking me what does the word "niik" mean? i was like wtf?

why do want to know it.then she tells his uncles name was niik maxamed and he went to saudi arabia to seek job,but they deported him for that name.
i coulnt help but giggle,i told him that is a bad word.
