atleast they are better than those who do 12 months in a row all kind of xaraam, these 'ramadan-moslims' only commit 11 months xaraam. Maybe they will be forgiven in this blessed month. It is better to the whole year your best in stead of 1 month, but 1 month is better than nothing

The whole point of Ramadan is for people to put off those sins for the month.

This month is to wash off sins and to rebuilt personal relationship with Al-Muntaqim.
