Puntland troops replace Sharif troops in strategic area

Post by paidmonk »

Shabelle: SOMALIA

MOGADISHU (Sh. M. Network) - the TFG forces of Darawish have replaced the former government soldiers in Ex-control Afgoi, a key checkpoint in the Somali capital Mogadishu, official told Shabelle radio on Monday.

Afrah Ali Afrah, head of operations of Darawish forces told Shabelle radio that some of their troops were deployed to Ex-control checkpoint where the former government soldiers took illegal money from the traffic traveling between Afgoi and Mogadishu.

He said that the replaced soldiers were deployed to another bases of the TFG in parts of the Somali capital Mogadishu.

“We shall not take any money from the people and also the traffic. We shall keep the security only.” Ali said

There had been more government soldiers with heavily armed battle wagons that were firing bullets in each direction which people expressed concern on Monday morning. But all things returned calm as Darawish troops replaced the soldiers.

It is not known what the soldiers’ replacement will change the security and clashes between the Islamist forces and government troops that often happens there in the capital.

Darawish = always existed as a unit even before 1991 and has nothing to do with the Bantustani forces who long ago evacuated Xamar after their Habesha massahs took off.

Abakar,

Paidmonk believed his Bantustani forces would be brave enough to hang around in Xamar without their Ethiopian protectors.

Abdiwahab
True that Darawiish did exist waagi hore, but are you denying the fact that there`s Puntland troops in Mogadishu? last I knew Saciid Dheere commanded a force of 1700-2000 men, and they fought harder and braver then Adeer Cabdiqaybiid who refused to fire a single shot. That nigga is to busy chilling at Isgoyska drinking mango juice.
