Sheikh Sharif implemented a Sharia Law, while Al-Shabaab rejected it. Sheikh Sharif seeks peace and dialogue while the latter continues the carnage. Sheikh Sharif is a Muslim while Al-Shabaab deny that Sheikh Sharif is a Muslim. Two different mentalities.

They are both gardheeryaal or whatever u call it. Keep in mind Sheik Shariif used to be the leader of these guys. They do not differ in their ideology but rather who will rule
