Great point. But what confuses me, is that they STILL choose to live in social housing developments, just so they can still qualify for welfare and cheap rent

Live among a people for long enough and their traits will influence you.

Being relatively recent migrants, it is excusable. You cannot expect a majority first-generation ethnic group to become self-sufficient that quickly.

Bollocks mate. It aint hard for 2-3 Somali's to pool money to pay a fair rent in exchange for quality residence away from the ghetto. Lets face it, Somalis have been migrating to Canada since the mid 80's.
