I am saying ur map is off. D&M lands have been granted to Hawiye in your map and that is a problem. Most of Shabelle hoose which is predominantly Digil land has been made part of Shabelle instead of Asal. There is your conflict right there

I suggest you split the Shabelle into 2 regions: Hiiraan and Shabelle. So the sum should be;


1. Hawiye - Hiiraan, Shabelle, & Galmudug

2. Darood - Punt

3. Digil Mirifle/Darood/Hawiye/Dir = Jubbaland

4. Dir = Asal

That map seems to be on with Gedo from what i can see, but gives Shabellada Hoose to Hawiye

replace hawiye with MJs and you've the historical kismayo. but today marehan are, or close to, the single largest sub-clan in kismayo, you also have a sizable hawiye community.

anyways, no clan controls it today, its under the rule of the sharia.
