A thousand rascals feverishly retail their wares on SN, all of them unlettered, all of them tedious. To one soul goes the literary prize and one soul only. In a landscape abounding with quackeries old and new, among a rolling ocean of horizonless imbecility stood one towering above the great multitude. Into this void of endless tedium stepped his Genius to remind us how to laugh, to snicker, to guffaw uproariously.

Bliss it was to watch him train his artillery fire on the witless of the earth, to see him discharge a volley of shrapnel against charlatans and rogues and fools. A fountain of boundless comedy, without him this joint has measurably deteriorated. Amongst us always someone's wig was snatched, another insulted, a third mounted like a bison.

I won't say his name, for in that last sentence lies the clue. I know it, he knows it, you know it. A kiss upon his mighty heart!
