I havent been to Syria but from what i heard its a lot better than Saudi, Yemen and Egypt. I have been groped, rubbed on and dirty words whispered to my ear. It doesnt matter how you dress, just that you are a woman. The society is unhealthy.

Its extremely rare here in the U.K (unless people are intoxiated in clubs ) you can be in the middle of the most crowded buses and wallahi no one absolutely NO ONE will ever fondle you, or squeeze your bum. It is better in some ways. It is not that strict, but there is segregation nonetheless. Same with Egypt. No socialization between young boys & girls. What is the wisdom behind segregating them in schools? Little boys and girls should be playing with each other, befriending each other..this will ensure that in future when they are adults they will not abuse each other.

Lol, that didnt happen to me but a friend of mine who was getting married in Syria had an encounter with a tailor who groped her breast, she was shocked and left.
