having said that, lets look at the facts.
Cabudwaaq is unquestionably the largest city in Galgaduud..! and in Mudug it is only Gaalkacyo that is JUST larger than Cabudwaaq.
now it is common knowledge that Galkacyo is largly facilitated with former government-construction and other factors play role in it being a big city
A. the main road that connects Galkacyo to practically all its needs including the ports of Bosaso and Xamar
B. Galkacyo being the former head of Mudug(including Nuugal,Galgaduud..) it has not only been payed attention to by governments prior to the Kacaan, but has also had development intervention during the colonial period.
C. this city is inhabited by endless different tribes including Leelkase, Hawiyo, Majerteen etc etc... each clan claiming and developing its portion of the city.
now, how on earth is a city populated by Marexans and Marexans only, isolated from ports and main roads, virtually the youngest City in Somalia. In a competition with Galkacyo ? well if we could build Somalia why not Cabudwaaq
understand that even a whole Galkacyo can not take over Cabudwaaq, how can a detached small part do so?
this suggestion is just laughable knowing that (part) Galkacyo is all Hawiyo have in Central Somalia
