yeah its common, i've been to couple of them. wouldn't say its a somali thing as in "cultural"...

Londoners do this the most...they party alot over there..so i hear....

also, i hear they even do "divorce" parties.....xalimoz thrown their recently divorced friend a party for a fresh start at a new life of garoobnimo.
