if one reads the Quraan , u can see that is almost impossible to stone somebody ... first u need 4 witnesses seeing them in action, then if they are guilty, if they plea for forgivness and choose to take the punishment not on earth .. they can be premitted NOT to get stoned.

There one case ..which a woman committed adultery (zinaa) , and she came her self to prophet saw , AND SHE WANTED TO GET STONED , SO THAT SHE WOULD NOT TAKE HER PUNSHIMENT IN AAKHIROO !! Prophet Muhammed .. didnt want her to get stoned , he at first ignorned her wish. He (SAW) said , give birth to baby first then ... and she came back .. and He (SAW) said , breast feed the child and care for him until he grows .. at last she came back . and still wanted to get stoned .. so that why she was stoned ... And Nabi Muhammed sAW was sad about this case !

By Him in Whose hand my soul is, she has repented to such an extent that if one who wrongfully takes an extra tax were to repent to a like extent, he would be forgiven". Then giving command regarding her, prayed over her and she was buried.""

Capital punishment doesn't actually act as a deterrent in a society of desperate people, and crazy people don't consider the consequences anyways.

Americans have proven this to be true in a much more affluent society than Somalia.
