Re: Gilbert Arenas pulls a gun on a teammate
you misunderstand me bro...When I say a nig, I do not mean an african american. To me, niggery is a set of behaviour that may be exhibited by different kinds of people, incl. somalis. There are plenty of decent and respectable african americans in the nba...I don't see a grant hill, tim duncan or chris paul (to name a few) being caught in a similar type of situation

But Gilbert is stupid. You can not have guns in DC. It is nearly impossible to register a firearm in DC. Having a gun in DC is FELONY and the nigga brought it on league property. The guns had no ammo in them, but if anyone brought a gun to their job, they'd be fired!
After the game I saw the reporters around him and he is like "I didn't do anything wrong, so I'm not going to feel any remorse"
And then he is gonna go and do a gun pose before a game he shouldn't even be playing in

Re: Gilbert Arenas pulls a gun on a teammate
^ Londoner, Critt is a no name at the end of the bench and btw this was over a gambling debt. Apparently Gil owed Critt $150,000... which is chump change since Arenas is making $16 million this season. But the stories are all over the place, there is no one set story except Gilbert brought guns to the Verizon Center in DC to turn over guns to security because he could not have guns around his young kids.
He could just buy a lock box and keep it somewhere in his house no one could get to
and he lives in Virginia so the laws in Virginia are VERY leninent towards guns. All these big city mayors on the East Coast hate Virginia laws because almost all firearms trafficked are from Virginia.
Cumar, this is unprecedented in American Sports... this has never happened

What an idiot this guy...He's been suspended indefinitely by David Stern, in part thanks to the actions depicted in the picture above. His antics could cost him the remainder of his hundred and eleven million dollars if the team decides to dump him or if he gets convicted. Agent Zero

^ The guns weren't resgistered, he shouldn't have had 'em in the first place let alone bring them onto league property.

Re: Gilbert Arenas pulls a gun on a teammate
my dream scenario.. we trade both Butler and Jamison away for expirings, picks, maybe a young player and Gil's contract is voided...Skippa wrote:What an idiot this guy...He's been suspended indefinitely by David Stern, in part thanks to the actions depicted in the picture above. Wizards would have have $11 million on salary on the books for next season... a whopping $40 million to spend in Free Agency
Re: Gilbert Arenas pulls a gun on a teammate
don't count your eggs yet, even if the contract gets voided, it's likely to be reinstated in arbitration, if we judge by Sprewell's precedent. He may be suspended for the rest of the year or never play again for the wizards, but one way or another, they'll have lost a lot of money before they're rid of him. It was a mistake to sign him for that much and just after his knew injury

anyway ifthey just get rid of AJ and Caron, we'll have enough cap to go after some good players... but they can't get any of the super stars...
most probably IT'LL be only have Gil, McGee, Blatche, Young, Foye... thats like 27 Million on the books with probably another $27 million to spend under the cap.. Haywood and Miller will be FAs and Haywood sold his house in VA... that nigga aint coming back, so it will be JaVale McGee time
I saw this on RealGM and I'm drooling over the possibility
Gosh, if the Wiz suck the next 3 months... DC can get JOHN WALL at Verizon Centerwashington gets:
tracy mcgrady (expiring)
houston's 1st rounder this year
houston's future second rounder
houston gets:
caron butler
brad miller
chicago gets:
antawn jamison

Re: Gilbert Arenas pulls a gun on a teammate
Gilbert Arenas is hilarious, he gives a new meaning to the position "Shooting Guard"
FAH, I wouldn't count out Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison taking the Wizards somewhere. Keep in mind that in almost 300 games that the three were part of the Washington roster, they appeared together on the court for about 80 games (roughly a full season altogether) due to injuries. They're all former all-stars and know how to ball, even though age is creeping up on them. If they can stay healthy and not pull guns on their teamates, they ain't a bad trio. Throw in Randy Foye and you have potential (as long as LeBron doesn't piss on their parade like he does almost every year
).
Besides, the prospect of getting T-Mac shouldn't have u salivating just yet...dude is known to get injured climbing stairs and shyt.
