Wale Snet Members are punch of delusional folks, how can anyone even question who resides Qabribayah? QabriBayah belong of the family the produced some of the most feared warriors, poets such as Mahumed Camaje AKA Indagale, his father Camanja (does not need introduction) of the Reer Farax Guled Jama, Musse Idle Ilmi of the Reer Hirsi Guled Jama & many others. Qabribayah is exclusively Talanabi territory AKA Abasguul Jidwaq Absame.
There are 53 degmo or what they call Qabaley that form Qabribayah, only two are none Absame, One being Harti Sheek which belongs to idoor IDPs and the other is called Godan which belongs to Akisha. If you look at the city Qabribayah consists of four big Xafads, I don't speak Amhari but the names are basically xafad 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.
Sera Endi
Sera Hulatti
Sera Sosti
Sera Aratti
Or some shyt like that, All Abasguul & for anyone else to claim Qabribayah they are just day dreaming, On the last census report Qabribayah had 91,000 population with 98% being Absame.

Thanks for the info people. Lately I kept running into people telling me they are from Qabri Bayax. Does it have a refugee camp located within its borders or in the near vicinity?

There several IDP camps, the biggest one is in Qabribayah and there is a newer one in Jigjigga where the new IPS (not refugees cuz this is still Somali Territory) that fled the Wayana invasion of Mogadishu are resettled. Qabribayah camp is older one and there are 9000 IDPs that were approved/granted back in 2008 to be resettled in US. The first groups started arriving late last year and the rest will follow some time this year.

Yup. Funny thing is though the people who are actually being resettled are not the IDPs but people from the region who basically started claiming to be IDPS. Mostly Absame and some Aw Qudub Shiekhaals. Do Shiekhaals live anywhere near Qabri Bayax?

Ugas Faarax, I'm not good at retaining Gabey after hearing it but I sure heard about these gentlemen whose poems you are interested in. Let me scramble some Gabayo for you after interviewing family member.
Camanje Vs Muse
Abdi Hassan Vs Indo-Gaale

Sometime next week Insha Allah.

Majority of these camps have what they call returnees these are the people who fled the Ethiopian opression/wars in the 1980s but lost sanctuary after the Somali Gov failed so they returned home with no property or ability to take of care of their family. The UN settled them in these camps in the 1990s, these are majority Absame and other Darods such Marehan & Geri from Waqoyi Galbed.
So if you see Dooros specially Jidwaaqs don't be surprised they are true IDPs in the sense they lost their adopted homes in the 80s.
