Dawaa under normal circumstance you have two options.

1. Apply for student/work visa in which case you would need to be accepted by a school or sponsored by an employer which is not happening in this economy.
2. Apply for the green card lottery. Many Somalis have come to the U.S. legally through the lottery. In the last cycle, a mutual relative of Abdisamed and I came to the U.S. through this lottery from South Africa.

Under the Somali circumstance, there are other options seeing as we are a stateless/refugee society.

Fly in with UAE passport (if you have one) destroy it after you pass the airport and hand yourself over to the authorities as an asylum seeker.

But marriage to a citizen of the United States is probably the easiest route.
