GeneralSNM, what stranger are you talking about? in last elections 48% of H.Y voted for ucid , 38% - UDUB , and 14% Kulmiye, H.Y are not just only combined into 1 party, H.Y partyaadan especially UCID iyo UDUB sii ficaan bii ugu coodeeyen, but because the H.Y candidates in kulmiye did not attract much votes of the H.Y electorate , wether it was Togdheer, Sanaag, Sool, Saxiil or Maroodijeex they failed to attract much H.Y votes compared to UCID iyo UDUB, it's not my fault if your H.Y candidates in Kulmiye were not popular among the voters , out of the 17 H.Y Mps . 8 belong to UCID , 8 belong to UDUB , and only 1 H.Y MP belongs to Kulmiye.

Correct, the suldaans are meeting for purely non political issues. But yet, that being the case, still if you browse through the SOmaliland press and websites, there is a lot of comments made about this meeting. From "why are they meeting now" to "who are they meeting from" and anything in between. It somehow feels like this meeting has come as a shock to those who used to pray HY's divisions to last.

It is obviously clear that some corners are feeling unsettled by the prospect of a united HY with a single vocal point.
