Re: Would you volunteer in a third-world country?
I think the peace-corps are a Christian organisation, try to find one which isnt. I would recommend volunteering to everyone, in fact if I were Prime Minister I would make it compulsary for all before or just after university. Believe me you wont be able to teach maths, all 10 year olds in Africa and Asia are better than anyone in the West at math. I would love to run orphanages like those during Somalia's Socialist era, school and board all in one. Good luck sis

I think it's a good idea. Go for it. Just make sure your heart is in it.

Who's gonna pay for it, is it all expenses paid? Is this for University and do You get credit? I'd definitely not reccomend joining any Christianity spreading orginization. Check out the Red Crecent or Your school MSA for relief/education type work

So, you're trying very hard to spread faster the evil known as globalism?blitzkrieg wrote:To help globalism spread a little faster, of course.
I'm doing my part to help pave the way for the New World Order.

Why does everyone assume that I'm going to volunteer through a Christian organization? Quite frankly, I'm not a fan of their 'Bibles for food' ethics.
One language, one monetary system, one government - this is the way of the future, brother.
I won't be teaching 'priviledged' children. I doubt ten year olds in desolate orphanages are spewing Multivariable Calculus theorems; most of these children don't have the means to be fed, let alone enter school. I'll be alright; thanks for the encouragement, though.gedo_gurl wrote: Believe me you wont be able to teach maths, all 10 year olds in Africa and Asia are better than anyone in the West at math.
