Jamaal, there is no clear future for them especially if your landlocked in a third world country.

Murax wrote:Interesting...In any event this is Why I want Isaaqa and Somaliland to be granted their secession pass, so We do not have to always revisit times of division, civil war, mistrust etc. For instance Isaaqa are always going to mention the unfortunate events of the '80s Where they did have unfortunate events happen to them, and all this is going to do is stur up feelings of hatred. However tommorow if Somalia is a State, I have no problem with having two Somali neighbors (Djibouti, Somaliland) lax borders and free trade/movement. If getting independence is all they need to move on, then why not.

Excellent post  :sland:

Wow, Murax has stepped out of his usual role of cheerleading and made a remarkable decision without trying to please the rest of the pack

As for the topic, we told afweyne about hsi end in the 80'.
He laughed it off and continued smoking cigarettes while we were the first somalis to become refugees (well, the cagdheers have been the original refugees since the 70's actually...not tryna steal their credit).

Less than 10 years later he fled to the otherside of the continent, got robbed by Nigerians and died on a toilet seat where he used to use his red berrettes hat as toilet paper
