Somaliweyn is in an unhealthy state it has cancer which is spreading very fast. As an inteligent being will you not agree to a solution of isolating the cancer before it spreads across the whole of somaliweyn?

Premature union will cause the total annihilation of all regions. Many want and love the idea of somaliweyn and that will one day become a reality. If you are a true somaliweyn supporter then you will be the first to support independent states who can never escape their somalihood ever. Every state when developed and secure will seeks union without fear and for their mutual benefits.

Forcing anyone into an arrangement not suited for their needs will forever fuel the flames of conflict in the region and that is the first thing we wish to adress. The primary goal of any inteligent somali that wishes to contribute to a resolution of the crises should not concern themselves with the inter-regional politics but rather the indivudual regional instability.

Unity is not a demand of one man's wish on and against the action and plans of another.

At this time in the history of somali people there is no benefit from UNITY. Premature engagement will lead to a bitter seperation with dire consequences.

Somaliland is a Muslim country. If it were possible, of course we will join the Muslim ummah because Islam is the defining feature of our people. Islam is the divine truth and we accept it wholeheartedly.

However, the era of the Islamic Golden Age finished many centuries ago . Muslims are too divided and moving further from the truth. Its most unfortunate indeed.

I always see you very intelligent and reasonable person. However, not this time! . For the damn life of me, I can’t believe you believe in the idea of phantom 'Ummah'. Sorry to disappoint you, but I have to second Dhego Bacayr here that this concept of Islamic Unity only does exist in the minds of poverty ridden Muslims. It is the promise of Al-Qaida and Al Shabab make when they want to recruit unemployed Muslim kids who have where else to turn to.
