I support an Isaaq President.

My reasons:

They will further marginalize Dhulbhantes which would destabilize their presence in Sool and Buhoodle.

As they believe in their fanatasy they'd wage attacks in Sanaag where reinforcements, including weapons from across the gulf and Somalia would equipt militias to rid SNM sediments in Western Sanaag.

Clan wars ( Isaaq) against Warsangelis would be waged where Dubays and Konfur Warsangelis would lead fronts against any sediments to Somaliland.

Isaaq blood will be shed and qabilism will be born as Warsangelis will lead in eradicating SNM sediments in Western Sanaag completely. Unlike borders with Ethiopia, Isaaqs would also face destabilization in Berbera where ships would be hijacked, attacked on route there. And sea assaults would be led.

Unlike the hopeless and helpless Dhulbhantes, Sanaag terrain makes it a handicap for reinforcement of forces from Isaaqland and easy pickings for Warsangelis. This will legitamize the beefing up of security in Maakhir as hostiles will be eradicated.

No single Isaaq is even safe East of Erigavo and with a non-Gadbursi president and their policies against Warsangelis. Warsangelis would have no choice but to dismantle Isaaq cells hostile against their former rulers.

Its a win win situation.

another advantage of having idoor president is that soon he got elected, beef will start among them and civil war will follow like they did during cigaal era and the one before him.

The fact is Warsangelis might play fiddle second to Majarteen but being the animals of Isaaqs as Dhulbhantes been played that is an impossible. The fact is Sanaag is aligned with Garowe, the descendents of a people who considered Isaaqs to be iidoor and low caste could never be dominated by them. And a Isaaq President would be in the interest of Maakhir so it can further remind Warsangelis to not allow a single breathing Isaaq to live in Sanaag. Unless destablization isnt a question.

I know once a single Isaaq especially a President from Hargeysa says any anti-Warsangeli rhetoric and goes as far to try to use forces against them. Its over, Berbera their only port would be met with some major consequences, the Garowe administration would do nothing leaving ships and their port valnerable for bilioqo. I honestly feel sorry for the day Somaliland attempts to secure Sanaag, and I am hoping this comes with a Isaaq president. The Gadbursi one wasnt a threat his interest lied with his pockets and Awdal. But an insane Isaaq who knows we marginalized and enslaved them knows the have a score to settle. Their little Hargeysa admin cant do anything for Sanaag let alone their only port Berbera. And I pray we see this day.
