Laas Anod is ruled by Isaaqs. Dhulbhantes are pretty much the love child of Isaaq so fighting against Somalidiid really isnt the problem its a buffer zone for Garowe since its 2 hrs from it. The reason why Laas Anod is crucial is because if it is in the hands of isaaqs who are anti-mj they can use the dhulbhantes to attack Garowe.

Somaliland isnt going nowhere, this whole SSC thing can never suceed on ground it doesnt matter how divided they are, Laas Anod their main town is Anti-Somalia forget Puntland a regional state. They share the same sentiments as Isaaqs in Hargeysa do against Somalia. All it is, is a buffer zone.

Why would paid care for Erigavo? Last I checked Bosaaso was East of Erigavo and Isaaqs arent East of Erigavo. And in order to get to Caynabo you have to continue on road West towards Burco from laas Anod.

What admin can Dhulbhantes establish, have you been to Laas Anod? Its a road side town thats between Garowe.

You have no access to anything, but I'd support SSC because it would give Warsangelis the boast, because if it were reverse I know SSC having access to a sea would suceed whether they had pro-Somaliland or pro-Puntland elements. Dhulbhantes as disorganized and not united a few clans that would have a make shift port with their Garaads supporting it would make SSC a success.
