3 SIM CARD Phones

I was told of Chinese mobile phones that have 3 SIM card slots and you can use all 3 phone carriers (and their 3 numbers) on the same phone.

I find this to be intriguing and quite useful if you are traveling overseas or regionally.

Anyone heard about these or has one ?

I had 2 SIM card phone in Hargeisa. I haven't seen the 3. Yet again, that was 3 yrs ago so things might changed.

Were you able to use two different networks and phone numbers on the same phone ?

Last I remember in Somalia, the different carriers did not operate on each other's lines and would require you had service on each of the carriers if you wanted to receive calls from another person on a different network.

Yup, that is the whole idea man.

I had two differnt carrier in one phone. I didn't have to miss any calls or carry two phones.

I paid $180...that was 2007. I'm sure they're not as expensive as they were. They would be even cheaper in Dubai.

If you have to go through China before going back to Africa for your work, spend a day there and buy all of your equipment needs there.

I remember a major recall of major US supplier which uses Thai factory, over 3million were recalled.

Nowdays I only deal with US made ones but then again if it fails, how can you disprove its not yours ?

the technology belongs to samsung..

The shangzai pirate manufacturers from china copied the designed and cloned it..
they started turning out newer models with all sorts of extras..

I have Samsung D-980 this is more stable than the chinese versions. so i recomend it..

its a dual sim.
