The guy who pumps up Puntland the most here is Somalian Boqor and I know for a fact that he wouldn't go anywhere near their to fight

I dont think shabaabul murtaddeen will ever succeed in capturing somalia. Though if they do that would be the end of islam in somalia.

I don't think Al Shabab has any interest in capturing Puntland. They don't even want to capture Mogadishu because their existence depends on the existence of the TFG.
