I would have entertained the option of offering the ISSE back the land that was tolen by the Gadaalkaguursi if Djbuuti would promote recognition

Isse only have a few villages left.
Awal garxajis live between sacad-muse and Isse-muse in more recent maps.
Garxajis 1800 they used to live as far east as Laas qorey
Tol jeclo lost some land from the east.

Cirwaaq stay out of Awdal affairs. Cise and Gadabuursi always lived together. The Ciise nomads used to graze their camels all the way to Bullaxar without the Gadabuursi disturbing them in any way because Gadabursi are not nomadic but a sedentary clan.

The Gadabursi are over 95% of Awdal, not because Cise moved out or the Gadabursi kicked them out, the reason why they are small is because they graze their camels during the rainy season and then go back to Ethiopia when the circumstances change. But dont get it twisted dhulka waa dhul Gadabuursi.

Even in the civil war in 1991 when the Gadabursi general captured Lawyacado, the cise who left were invited back.
