If you knew a sibling or a close family relative had a child out of wedlock. And they kept this secret for over a year, then out of sheer chance and fortunate circumstance you find out, would you be able to keep this a secret?
Or would you demand that they let it be known since its not fair on the child and give them the ultimatum to either tell or that you would?
Can a person keep such heavy secret on their shoulder?

Therefore put yourself in the position of the child.
Would you be happy to be kept as a secret or would you be happy to be known??

Oxy@looool
Hoorta thank you for sharing this personal gossip tidbit. I appreciate it.
Second of all, why do u say 'fortunate'?? Shouldnt it be 'Unfortunate'??? This tells me you are easily and readily embracing your bastard nephew or niece. I am not sure whether to commend you or censure u on this front, but i do have to agree...it is ...a ...'heavy secret' to keep.
The effects of being in the western world i suppose. Well, it depend really. Is the bastard mother an cadaan or a somali. If it is the former--well...there is no speedy reason to make the secret known. IF it is by a somali mother--then yeah--u should tell---but hide the bastard part. U can always say they married in a private nikhaah.
But most likely it is a half cadaan wecell ma ha? In that case-- this secret keeping or telling SHOULD NOT be your priority. The priority should be --is the child raised up a muslim?

A human life cant be kept a secret.
Its wrong & beyond ''unfair'' to the poor child.
