1. Training Military officers
2. Supplying you with Tanks, BM and other heavy weaponry
3. Not siding with Binti-land during Lasanod take over
4. Revenue for using Berbera port
5. Destroying your enemy - The ONLF Cagdheer bandits
6. Opening a diplomatic office in Hargeisa - something no other country ever did for you
7. Polital front - Allowing you to use Addis as gate to your diplomacy and dealing with other countries
8. Allowing foreign affair minister to address all European embassies in Addis Abeba
9. And many many more.

Ethiopia has done allot for Somaliland no need to understate. But for what price? Somalinimo? Everything its done for Somaliland was most likely not out of good intentions but rather for its own interests. A stable Somaliland is good for Ethiopia.

Somalilands build its own ciidan its own institution and democracy don’t act like Ethiopia did that for us , Melez And his tplf took over Ethiopia in 1991, And Somaliland independence was announced in 1991, Ethiopia uses berbera port, and we buy qat from them that’s it.
