Awbare VS Hartishek

Post by RuralMan08 »

First of all I want to apologise to the Samaroon members here. Most of them will be thinking how dare you even begin to compare awbare to a refugee camp. i know its absolutely ludicrous but to be honest i just wanted to get this out of the way since some ppl have been brainwashed into thinking that hartishek is big (when its comparable to samaroon villages.)

Awbare constitutes one of the woredas of Jijiga zone, and stretches to
approximately 38,786 km2. The woreda has an estimated population of
292,538 people, nearly 18% of which are made up of school age children (7-
14 years). There are currently 25 formal primary and secondary schools and
96 Alternative Basic Education Centres (ABECs) in Awbare.

Whilst the Awbare town has a population is 36 000. (Central Statistics Agency: 2005).

Hart Sheik has an estimated total population of 22,186

Hartishek is smaller than lafacise and awbere. It can only be compared with our villages like Xero-geel.

The fact that you're constantly trying to proof the immensity of Gadabursi dwellings, only gives credence to the opposite notion
