Marcus, that's the next president you are looking at. There is nothing warlord about him. He has two PhD's and top executive job with IBM that sees him traveling around the world.

Now is not the time for anyone with a Phd or even a Masters degree to get in to Somali politics.

OK, he has PhD's, which have yet to be confirmed, but more importantly, what gives him the right to be PM/President? Running IBM is not the same as potentially running the failed state of the former Somalia Koonfuria.

When I said Diaspora Warlord, don't take it literally. Its a reference to being from the diaspora and being either appointed by 'others' without the popular mandate to govern - as seems to be case here or Mr.Loyan has some kind of divine right to become president/PM on the virtue of his academic merits, which is only one aspect in considering a future in politics. Either way, this isn't going to solve the problems, it will only exacerbate it. You must use a bottom ups approach, not a top-down approach.

I wonder why you are questioning him on a Somali intellectual but you expressed support for Dalxa? A former somali singer and primary school teacher for the PM position.

He is not a professor, he was a teacher in Somalia though, he talked about his life story on Universal TV awhile ago.

Galeyr was very well educated, and the TNG didn't work. It doesn't matter who's in, the system is not meant to work.

Invest in local people using traditional forms of conflict resolutions and governance. No more outside interferences and pseudo-politicians appointed aboard.
