Horta why is xasarad associated with reer bari... particularly reer sanaag and I don't want to say it but you know fish and that Perhaps it's one of those Somali myths but, I also once heard that there is even a place called something xasarad I'm not too sure though and it’s somewhere in Bari... Presumably Sanaag. Anyone care to elaborate...

Take a good example of Boosaaso. It's reer Bari that built it from scratch. They had built Mogadishu and Kismaayo but they faced the wrath of tribal wars and were displaced in massive #s.

In Berbera, they built the only section known for huge buildings long time ago. Even in Hargeisa, they now run four major factories.

Reer Sanaag aka Warsangeli will be the first clan in Somalia to build a huge Port very soon.

They value peace, knowledge and other elements of human progress.

We started the airline business in 1991 aka Warsan Airlines but it's wasn't worthy or valuable enterprise as people hardly travel on air. Now a # of small chartered Airlines make direct flight to Boosaaso.
