UK & Canadian Somalis. The good & the bad. Comparative study

My observations from seeing both of these kinds of Somalis.

The Bad
T. Dot - A refugee camp that lives on state handouts and welfare and on their Friday nights waxay kuugu faanan inay Tim Hortons ka casheeyeen. Their whole life is pre-occupied with the American way of life. They act hard but really are the biggest bunch of sissies Ive ever seen. You see guys who came there when they were 13 and still cant speak Somali like WTF, when he hears Somali wuxuu ku odhanayaa yeah dawggg my pops speaks like that. (Sidenote: Those type do exist in the U.S but they are the qashin imports from Canada). They are the quickest to lose their dhaqan and they shy away from their Somali heritage. Honour is a word unknown to them, courtesy is like a japanese word for them. Literally I cannot stress how much these people are beyond pathetic. They dont care about their own sisters, they are alcoholics numero uno No.1 walle iyo bile. They drink like its no 2moro.

The Good
Wallahi I have hardly anything good to say about these people. Perhaps they are not as petty as the UK Somalis but even thats not good, at least the UK Somalis faqrigooda wey ku la xisaabtameyaan and even in their poverty they will try to shoe you a good face.

Ottawa has way more class, those people know how to keep to themselves and live their own twisted lifestyle. Most of what I said is referring to Toronto goons.

London -

The Bad:
Live in a house with 30 people, share the plates of food, gaajo mentality. After lunch, they buy a packet of B & H gold. 5 guys smoke the same cigarette gladly. If the cigarette still has life someone will gladly pick it up from the floor (even if people are watching) and smoke whats left of it without flinching. Its the city of sharing, literally they even share their clothes wallahi. You wear a jacket and you go to town and Axmed says to you hey thats my jacket and you will say but I got it from Jaamac and he will reply but I only told him he could lend it to Warsame. Their reputation took a nose dive because of the European somalis (somali who came to UK from all over europe). The european somalis aka eurotrash brang to UK their disgusting habits such as drinking a glass of water with a straw (WTF). Plus they wear the most outrageous garms you'd think they all participated in the Paris fashion show.

The Good
All in all they are much more ragg than the Canadian Somalis, these guys travel, can live anywhere in poverty and not flinch. Much closer to their dhaqan. You find 4th generation Somalis (Reer Waqooyi) born and bred in UK who still speak very good Somali. The girls are much better behaved, closer to their families etc.

You guys should know that Im impartial, I went to Canada numerous times, lived in UK for a year already. They are completely opposite but I prefer Reer UK anyday of the week wallahi.

Cumar how dare you say such disgusting things. Reer UK are more proficient in Somali than American Somalis but most American Somalis know their dhaqan very well. Ive been to many States from Seattle to Oregon to Texas to North/South Carolina to Wisconsin and most Somalis Ive seen have some compatibility with our language. But these dudes in Canada (T Dot) have no interest in Somali. Something with the water perhaps as Voltage mentioned
