Last I knew the egg breakfast contained bacon, unless that has changed.

You can get any sandwich without the bacon. It should be on the menu.

The last time I ate in a McDonald restaurant was in 2004 when I used to work in Charlotte, NC and used to go back to my family in South Carolina. On my way I remember eating the fish sandwich they have over there. Since then I have never eaten there and despise their food. Keep in mind any fried food in McDonalds in the west is cooked with shortening oil which contains lard. If you also eat the one that is cooked in the grill, it is also cooked the same place they cook the bacon :P I was later on explained by a Muslim who work in a McDonald restaurant and I have never bothered going to any McDonalds since then.

Aren't you the same dude who brags about being a regular khaat consumer? Don't tell me you believe khaat isn't haraam.

On the topic, you should all watch an interesting documentary called 'Food, Inc'.

http://www.zmovie.tv/movies/view/food-inc

Its sure to change how you regard the food industry in Western countries. As for so-called 'halal meats', they get their animals from the same plants as everyone else. Which means these animals have been fed animal by-products including pork stomach linings and other pork products as part of their feed. Not to mention all the antibiotics and steroids these animals are fed, all of them containing more or less enzymes from pigs & cows. Then you have the appalling living conditions for these animals and the inhumane treatments they are subjected to. So much for 'halal meat'. Its all a gimmick & a marketing scheme. Want to stay healthy? Either look for organic free-range chicken or beef, or reduce your animal intakes to fish & replace the rest with organic veggies with high protein & iron contents.

Qaad and non-xalaal food are two totally different things.
One of them has been 'clearly' defined in the quran as 'forbidden' while the other is debatable depending on the level of consumption.

Cali-Gaab,

So, according to you, khaat is halal? Even though its a known hallucigant containing cathonine, the same chemical found in amphetamines like crystal meth? Cathonine which releases dopamine in the frontal lobe & messes with people's reasoning and gives them a false sense of euphoria? The same reason why the U.S. government has put khaat in the same drug category as methamphetamines & banned it here?

While meats slaughtered by non-Muslims is haram? Even though there's a clear verse in the Qur'an that says: "For you is lawful to consume meats slaughtered by the people of the book...." And there's no mention anywhere in the Qur'an of meats slaughtered by non-Muslims being haram. Its merely avoided out of ijtimaac (scholarly consensus) based on the hadith that says: "that which is halal has been made clear to you and that which is haram has been made clear to you, that which you find suspicious, its best to avoid it..."

Btw, I'm not saying non-halal meats shouldn't be avoided, just pointing out that you're the last person to lecture anyone on what's halal & what's not.

No i haven't, now sit down and shut the fock up.

Koronto, if the US has banned it, why do other Western countries such as the UK, Holland and Germany not ban it? As i said, the issue of qaad being xaraam can be debatable. as it depends on the consumption. You'd be a fool to think that it constantly gives you a false sense of euphoria and messes with your senses. It again depends on the level of consumption.

If you can't find somewhere to eat where they serve xalal food, then such a thing is permitted. But how do you know the people that make you this food are the 'people of the book' as you're not allowed to eat the food of athiests.
