Life begins when you want it to begin. On a more serious note when you are past the age of 30 then all kinds of health problems you never had to deal with before sneak up on you. The best years in life are your young days as you are the healthiest in those years. I am talking in general of course.

Not to mention I witnessed the war between Somalia and Ethiopia in 1977.......vivid memory of artillary flying over our house in mandera NFD.....and heating right on target....destroying Habishi military......I remember my father taking as for Eid shopping 1880's ok Balatxawe......and other things I dont wont to mention right now...

I think that's only for gaalo women...for Somali women, everything starts to go downhill at 40. At that age, most of them have nothing other than their kids to hang on to, by the time they hit 50/60...they're proper grandmas unless they're career women who manage to stretch the aging process a bit. Even worse are those women whose kids leave them or become screw-ups....they become very lonely, depressed, psychologically unstable and talk of the town. A few women manage to remain in a loving relationship with their husbands and I guess for them life is somewhat good....and a few end up having to share their husbands with a woman half their age...and their life is not gravy. I think for most Somali woman, life begins at 20 and starts to go down the pipes at 40....maybe life begins at 40 for the men....they tend to be more financially secure at that age and start looking to settle down with a woman half their age.
