Begging and making films has never made any country independent. I just saved you time.

Okay, humour me. How is an anarchic country with a puppet gov to foreign interests and that is overrun by extremists and warlords that are holding the rest of the peacful regions hostage sound better than having a peaceful, developing and stable neighbour country that can fend off ethiopian vultures and provide investment and infrastructure to Somalia? Face it, there is only a certain group of people against the independence of S/L and for only one reason.Coeus wrote: With your lack knowledge of Politics you can say whatever you want. A shame

What strikes me as odd is that the guy went to Somaliland after the end of two years of difficult time....
Then seems he went to see ''suffering and starving'' people ( to his mind), but discovered their resilience and determination to build their place and lives.
Of course that helped his ''middle class depression''. So instead of appreciating what he saw he is ignorantly meddling with internal conflicts.
That aside I would ask Abdi.Ismail: why he thinks a two minutes clip of a gaal desperately looking for soul rescuing is a news worth?
Kala dooro labadaan:
Ninkaa arragiisa uurkaan ka nebcee aan ooyee albaabka ii xira
or
Engiriis dhaladkiiyoo xaggeen kaan dhunkaddaa.
I bet the majority of Somalilanders will pick the first line
.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, even an academy award winning oscar won't grant you recognition.
