Unfortunately he didnt get rid of Siad when he had the chance too. The whole 1969 debacle would of not taken place.

No he was part of a pivot, where he could have switched the dynamics against the 1969ers had he prioritized Maakhir and the Maakhiri identity and its supermacy over all Somalis.
