i am really happy for her and i hope she continues to be a model for our next generation of young females. however, having said that i am not sure if working in a bank like chase is halal. chase bank is an american bank and american bank's main sources of income are interest from loans and credit lines. i don't know the specific business models of this particular bank and i can't comment whether working there is haram or not. my friend works for barclays bank in downtown Nairobi and he told me that their bank is sharia compliant. i didn't ask more details about that so i don't know how the bank makes money.

thats not the case bro, if this girl was in the west she would have been an average Jane.However being Kenya's youngest bank manager,a place where millions of Somalis live in destitute, is refreshing and plausible.no?

Most everyone on Somalinet are in College, your looking at the future Somali professionals.
