Somaliland National Football Competition
Why doesn't the Somaliland minister of sport sieze the opportunity next year to set up a football competition consisting of all the regions of Somaliland?
I am sure they have the stadiums the means and the cash needed to set it up. It would be a great deal seeining the communities all across sland coming together and who wins the Somaliland National tournament. So far we know Oodweyne, Togdheer, Sanaag, Awdal teams are the deadliest football teams among Somaliland based on past matches and the amount of times they have won against opposing teams from other regions within JSL.

Waryaa Siilanyo is a smart educated man. He wants to build a region, he doesnt have time to make his staff set up tournaments. Faroole did that so people would be distracted from his destructiv politics.Siciid85 wrote:Why doesn't the Somaliland minister of sport sieze the opportunity next year to set up a football competition consisting of all the regions of Somaliland?I am sure they have the stadiums the means and the cash needed to set it up. What has this got to do with Siilaanyo? It's the ministery of sport's job to organise those kind of events within JSL. It would bring the communities closer together. There is one thing all humans understand and that is football.

Siciidow, we don't have to follow others i.e. bintiland. Insha'allah when we build the countries infrastructure up and actually have proper football stadiums with grass then we should hold tournaments. Why should we envy others who are playing a 5-aside tournament on a dusty patch they call a stadium, baring in mind we also have them at the moment.
So insha'allah work hard so that we can build this:

Re: Somaliland National Football Competition
Cumar, Oodweyn and Gabiley are not states in my books
Hawd is unrepresented land, so they can create a team, and why not invite jabuuti, or maybe best state from somalia when they have their championships

Re: Somaliland National Football Competition
Timocase why the hell would we invite zoomalia or djbooty? This clearly says "Somaliland National Football Competition" within regions in JSL.

Re: Somaliland National Football Competition
sxb your xisaabtada doesnt add up, u need either 4 groups or 2
Secondly why not? but if u want it 100%, keep it simple 6 somalilands states, 2 groups, 3 teams, first two group winners meet in final. Simple

Re: Somaliland National Football Competition
Timo_Case. This is just football sxb nothing political. It would be more fun having every region created by Somaliland represented rather then some of the old gobols created by Siad bare. For example are you telling me only the burco team should represent the whole togdheer region which includes Oodweyne, Buhoodle? When Oodweyne have their own classic team. That would be a waste of talent.

I agree with you on Salal. I don't hear much about it i guess it doesn't exist it's mostly refered to as Seylac district. Why did you left Saraar/Caynabo out of the list though?
