Saw this on the news this morning and was like ooh, Abu Dhabi is fancy huh?! And the tree isn’t even real!! The almost 43 foot tall evergreen at the Emirates Palace hotel is fake, but the necklaces, earrings and other jewelery adorning the branches bring the value to a cool $11 million!
The tree is home to 181 diamonds, pearls, emeralds, sapphires and other precious stones. The tree itself is still a little pricey too…about 10 grand according to the hotel owner. He said they want to contact the Guinness book of world records about the tree, which will remain in its location until the end of the year.
