Yemeni envoy meets Somali Fisheries Minister

Yemeni ambassador to Somalia Ahmad Hamid Omar met here on Sunday with Somali Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources Mohammed Hussain.

Omar and Hussain dealt with procedures of activating the executive program of a memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries in fisheries field.

The two officials also discussed cooperation sides between Yemen and Somalia in fisheries areas.

The Somali minister affirmed his country's keenness to promote cooperation with Yemen in this regard, hailing Yemen's position in supporting the Somali government in various stages.

I have one question for the readers in Snet. Why the fu** havent we made clear that Socotra is Somali territory?

Its obvius that these meetings with Yemen is mostly about:

1. Somali immigation to Yemen.
2. Socotra

Look at the damn map. They just dont own Socotra, but also more minor Islands that aree very close to puntland :shock:
