-Islamist militias of Hisbul-Islam headed by Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys surrendered to Al-shabab militias after pressures on his group to join to Shabab intensified latest periods, reports said.

Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys, leader of the Islamist militias of Hisbul-Islam and his militias have joined to the insurgent group of Al-shabab late today after long debate that his group had about either to unite with Shabab militias or fight with them.



All bases of Hisbul Islam in Afgoe, Elashaha-biyaha and in the capital Mogadishu have been confiscated by Al-shabab this afternoon and Hisbul-Islam militias turned into Shabab immediately, source said.



There is no an occasion held that was discovered to their unity, but reports indicate that it could be possible later on and there is no further detailed information about why Sheikh Hassan Dahir and his top leaders have taken this quick decision of joining with Al-shabab.



Sheih Hassan, Hassan Mahdi and A/kadir Kumandos had consecutive talks nowadays about the future of their organization’s existence so far, it is said that they have been caught days to surrender or else they should join to the Somali’s government, reports said.



The decision of these officials will lead them survive in the Shabab area and possibly might be part of Shabab officials if both heads understand one another including foreign fighters in Somali who have great influence in Shabab’s decision taking.



It was yesterday when Hisbul-Islam militias in Luk district of Gedo region united with Al-shabab militias and called for the remaining forces and heads equally join to Shabab.



Al-shabab becomes very strong power in the region fighting against Somali government forces backed by the African union peacekeeping forces since it had reached a victory over the war it had with Hisbul-Islam that was almost finished today.
