Reports coming out of the captial city of Hargeysa have indicated to Somalilandnews that President Ahmed M. Mahamoud Silanyo Has collaped in the Presidential palace of Viva Morgan. The reaons for his collapse are unknown and the President has been rushed to a local private hospital.

At the time of his collapse the president was being brifed by senior military officials about the on going war in cayn region. The results of causlities on the side of Somaliland was unexpected to be so high. Reports coming out of today's battle have put the number of deaths at 38 and wounded 55.

The condition of President Ahmed M. Mahamoud Silanyo is unknown to the mass media, but an official was quoted as sayng "President Sillanyo was unresponsive and may be rushed to an hospital out of Africa". Somaliland is an unrecognised self-declared state by SNM.
