Re: Where is Sahangalbeed
I would hope not! I have a handful of Dhuulo relatives and the farthest we'll go insulting each other's qabiil for laughs only. There's no animosity even with my Dhuulo friends or any Dhuulo for that fact!1nemansquad wrote:lol sexy-k, dude you should see the guy I'm talking about; even you don't love Mj's the way he does i bet lol .. you would literally feel embarrassed by the way he suck's up or kisses ass, its beyond disgusting

Udun is a Dhulbahante who LOVES his fellow Dhuulos(from what I gathered)... The only difference is that he supports Puntland and you don't! Probably same thing with this Cilmiile character. Is that right?
Re: Where is Sahangalbeed

Nah man, we don't roll like that in my family. If one does me dirty, it's cuz they did ME dirty. It has nothing to do with my qabiil.

Re: Where is Sahangalbeed
If Sahangalbeed is the family that is mentioned in the thread, I think I know his family. He is the son of a guy who was a head in the one of the banks in DJibouti and a lady whom I believe was a teacher. I believe that family lives in Geneva, Switzerland now. His maternal uncle was an MP in DJibouti in the 80s.
With respect to Michael Maryama, NA family that you mentioned, several other families who were Dhulbahante, HJ, HY, and Warsangelis were children who were taken by a catholic priest during the 20-year Dervishes struggle against the British. These were families who were related and the men in those familes were killed and some where lost due to the drought at that time. These were small children and there was only one old lady, their grandmother who was leading them. The Catholic priest knew these kids could not have become christians if they stay any Somali majority settlements, so they were taken to Ethiopia and were raised there. The good thing about these kids is they did not loose their Somali and clan identity, and when they come back all men and women helped their countries Somalia and DJibouti later on. They also helped their clansmen as much as they could have done. Some of them praised Islam, some of them were christians, and some of them were learning Islam as far as I know. All we could do is to pray for them.
To my knowledge, Michael Maryama helped his country Somalia during the independence. With respect to his deen, Allahu knows what his religious inclinations were later on but he was raised as a christian.
Finally, proselytization to Christianity is in full move in the refugee camps in Kenya, in Ethiopia, in DJibouti, in the diapora, and also in Somalia ina areas where you have western-based Christian NGOs. I think we should worry about the proselytization that is taking place right in front of our eyes and don't worry about what took place in the 1920s.

Re: Where is Sahangalbeed
I have to agree with Udun..Michael Mariamo was an honorable guy..His faith should be his concern, it is not our concern I Believe. Qof Wallow Taada ka werwer
! would rather respect the non-muslim who does not harm Somalis than the War-lord who kills thousands of innocent Somali...I would rather have the non-muslim, than the haters who harbor hate for people simply because of their clan like A/W. I would rather have a non-muslim than those who are dividing the country for greed
I think we shouldn't be bashing anyone for the sake of a sicko like Sahan... What can you expect from someone who hates his own mom so much that he can't resist the temptation to bash her one second?
I didn't know about her faith though, let me make few calls
My job...

Anagaa balaayo aragnay
OO hadda qofkii MJ jecel ma denbiilaa? Why? I don't know any Dhulos who hates MJ, If they hate MJ who are their closest kin, then how would they treat other clans? Dholos were not Haters...They were always the uniters of all Somalis and they should stay that way...
Love for every Somali clan from Dhulos...
