Re: Dr Abdikarim Jama, Minister of Information
The people of Mogadishu are not dumb. They are smart enough to see and appreciate a good leader. There are many people that knew the man before he entered politics, my NY relatives included and they all speak highly of him. Good news spreads like a wild-fire and Farmaajo's good character is 100 miles ahead of him.abdalla11 wrote:Why did the people of Xamar demonstrate for him the second the got appointed as PM several months ago. They knew his work in Buffalo?
You don't go to the streets for a PM who got selected not elected by the people, unless something fishy is going on.

You guys are so conspiratorial. Farmaajo's clan is a non-issue. I am pretty sure folks would be out supporting the Omar Mohamud guy, Yasin something from the Uk if he was in Farmaajo's shoes.abdalla11 wrote:They knew his work in Buffalo?![]()

Its not about clan, Farmaajo's clan lives in Mudug and are brave people
But the demonstrations he received from the get go by the people, tells something about who controls the minds of reer Xamar and it was sure not the new kid on the block.

You are joking right. Speaker of parliament is no head or leader, is a speaker, read his job description. Faroole ma wa ku so baray?

Re: Dr Abdikarim Jama, Minister of Information
I don't know who mobilized them, i am just putting the dots together. Besides i am talking about the demonstrations Farmaajo received upon being selected as PM and not about the recent ones. I don't believe the shady argument you gave me that the Xamar residents were familiar with the work he was doing in Buffalo, i do believe that they were mobilised. So if they were mobilised once, they can be mobilised for a second, third, fourth time. The first demonstrations months ago still puzzles my mind. How can one be soo enthusiastic for someone you don't even know?

Lol, the guy he was replacing was doing a lousy job and in politics any change is good.
At the end of the day, the protestors are protesting against a Hawiye president in his own home and in support of a Darood Prime Minister. Unless, you are saying there is a Secret Hawiye Underground Council that determines the political fate of the Hawiye clan, your opinion doesn't really mean much.

Re: Dr Abdikarim Jama, Minister of Information
Why didnt they celebrate the day the lousy PM resigned? Why wait for three weeks until Farmaajo was selected? Doesn't make sense.
BTW you changed your story from the residents were impressed with farmaajo's history to they were just relieved that the former PM left ( eventhough they celebrated his departure several weeks later and they werent saying farewell but were welcoming). Roving, just admit it, its fishy

Re: Dr Abdikarim Jama, Minister of Information
I didn't change my story, I just reinforced it.
You think that Hawiye are fundamentally against Majerteen. This blatantly false and fabrication. The most celebrated MJ politician PM Abdirashid Sharmarke was elected to the Somali Parliament and later to the Presidency from Hiiraan- a Hawiye Region. If someone is capable, the people are going to support them.
