Did you read the definition of Artificial Insemination before you posted that?

Did your parents tell you the intimate details of how you were conceived or you like to imagine that it was a magical candle lit affair? Who cares how the sperm ends up in the womb? If it belongs to your husband, same difference.

Interesting question...never thought about the religious aspect of it before but if one can receive a donated organ why not a donated sperm? I heard that according to out religion, the father of a child is the man the woman is married to at the time of conception and birth. It doesn't really matter who is the biological father and who isn't....so, the child wouldn't really be a bastard, not that it should matter....I mean, I don't consider that to be the overriding issue.
