The agreement stipulates the president gets 9/18 ministers and the speaker 9/18. The speaker is going to bring Shermaake and Yusuf's ministers, career politicians like Juriile and the president is going to name a couple of Farmaajo's cabinet at least that supported him against Farmaajo when it seemed like a fight would ensue. One year is not long. I will celebrate a year's time when new leaders sit in the seats. What comes between now and next summer, I will observe and see what transpires.RovingMadness wrote:
Majority of the cabinet will be drawn from the current cabinet. I am reasonably sure about this. However, if the same ministers from Fatboy Sharmarke are brought back, that will be a game-changer since those guys proved what a failure they are.

Re: Farmaajo resigning.
Everybody knows the Cabinet with the most capable Somalis from all clans in last twnety years will be replaced by corrupt unpatriotic rats. Farmaajo is a good leader but I first and foremost supported his team rather than him solely. Me and his clan are seperated by hundreds of kilometers but I supported him and Cabinet as a Somali man that want his country back and saw real progress. Now that the PM and therefore his Cabinet has been elimininated, what exactly is left to support when it comes to the TFG, other than the infant military which surely will collapse in the coming year of classic corruption? TFG is brutally controlled by foreigners where not even a team of patriots can withstand their machinations and proxy schemes.
Somalia's enemies all support the Kampala accord for good reason, and the international community is completely silent on the severe backlash to this accord from the common people, yet they show crocodile tears for Libya. Like I said there is an agenda out there, and Farmaajo drifted from this agenda, which is why he has been threatened and eventually ousted.
I don't see how any other patriotic leader in the future will do better than Farmaajo as long as the peace process and domestic security is not Somali owned.
