Enjoying life to the fullest
Is this word only meant for unmarried people?
Married people have no life to enjoy. Changing diappers, Cultural shock, chilren attitudes, day care, expenses. bla bla bla abla
They were suppose to enjoy life when kids grow up and move out but Children stay at home till late 20s. by then, The parent are either too old to walk or dead or sick.
Nor more life to enjoy. Marka eraygaan, it is only for before you married right?

So, you're saying...the Prophet Muhammad had no life, since he was not from the "Unmarried Category" or that your parents had "no life", since they were married...or were they?

Re: Enjoying life to the fullest
I believed they worked, worked, helped, helped till they got old or were too sick to walk.

My parents enjoyed life to the fullest before they got married...and they still do every now and then...they go to places every summer.
I can't believe my mother went to New York just to shop and didn't take me

I'm finding marriage less ideal, everyday.
Maybe due to my own faults? The responsilities/baggage that comes with it? Disappointments/risks/possibilities of failure? I don't know.

Re: Enjoying life to the fullest
I wouldn't say those who I know are miserable. It seems fulfilling actually, but only because of the responsibilities that come with it. Which takes me back to what I said.Nabeela wrote:Me too to be honest, all my married friends are miserable.Alphanumeric wrote:I'm finding marriage less ideal, everyday.

Happy married life= 6 figure job, prenuptial with a hot chick, no kids + a mistress.
Re: Enjoying life to the fullest
Marriage life would have been great if couples helped eachother and worked side by side and shared responsibilty.Laakin somali hadaynu nahay coleyska naagta ayuu saaran yahy, nimankuna waxay oo dhaqmayan like they're still back home.
Back home the wife had so much help from relatives to jaariyas, the mans contribution was hardly needed, his only job was providing for his family. But here you're all alone, not to mention we liv in a none islamic country where fitnah and fusuq is normal.Gaaladi ba caruurtadi kugu haysata oo raba iney dhaqanxumadooda baran.
So what girl is looking forward, taking care of 4-6 kids, raise them, take them back and forth from school, look after them so they dont get in trouble.Feed them, wash them and be up all night. Not to mention doing everything at home.No social life, no fun.
It's about time somali men change and help their families. If our prophet csw used help his wives, inaad iniku iskala weynaatan maaha.
