Shabaab ask help from Gaalo!!!

Al-Shabaab: we allow Muslim, Christian organizations to help drought affected people in Somalia

Mogadishu - Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rage (Ali Dhere), Al-shabab Spokesman, who spoke to the media in part of Banadir region, announced that the group is welcoming every organization, let it be ‘Christian aid agencies' or Muslim organizations so as to survive the people.

Ali Dhere said that the group named National Committee for Drought, the committee chairman will be al-Shabaab’s head of the policy and regional administrations, Sheikh Hussein Ali Fidow, who will work closely all aid agencies want to assist drought affected Somalis.

The Spokesman of Al-Shabaab guerilla announced that both local and international aid agencies from now on can operate similarly in areas controlled by Al-shabab so as to help drought affected Somalis.
Alshabab rejected aid agencies to assist needed people in southern and central Somalia last year.

The relentless violence, compounded by drought, has forced more than 135,000 Somalis to flee so far this year. In June alone, 54,000 people fled across the two borders, three times the number of people who fled in May.

There are now more than 750,000 Somali refugees living in the region, mostly in neighbouring Kenya (405,000), Yemen (187,000) and Ethiopia (110,000). Another 1.46 million are displaced within Somalia.

Murtad Grand, we will not allow you to be their main news reporter because that would beautify their crimes against humanity.

Back to the thread, the only reason why shabaab is doing this is because they are unpopular amongst the people they rule. The people are leaving them from left to right, many have reached the borders with Kenya, Ethiopia and also many came to the places controlled by the TFG militia(backed by Amisom).

If I am a murtad because I follow the sunnah of rasullah and his teachings of Al Wala Al Bara and follow the path of my beloved companion Abu Bakr in fighting the apostates, Then I love to be that definition of murtad. :D

Shebab controled regions being subjected to food restrictions is an act of war against humanity. It is not an innocent act and propaganda being perpetuated to blame this act of war on a drought that has long gone is adding insult to injury.

Was it not enough to shell the population to death must they resort to food sanctions to defeat shebab?

Also if shebab's defeat is at any expense including the genocide of the population who will the killers govern?

May Allah's justice come swift to those responsible.

Somali Militants Change Tactics as Drought Worsens
One of the worst droughts to hit the Horn of Africa in years is causing an Islamist militant group to change its mind about international aid agencies.

Al-Shabab says it will welcome all aid agencies, including non-Muslim ones, to provide food and other supplies to Somalis living in areas under its control.

Spokesman Sheik Ali Mohamud Rage told reporters in Mogadishu late Tuesday the groups would be allowed in the country as long as they first contact al-Shabab's drought committee and have only the objective of humanitarian relief.

The U.S. State Department said Wednesday it intends to test that willingness.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton convened a meeting of senior officials of the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development to discuss the Horn of Africa drought. A senior official there said she issued instructions to do whatever is possible to avoid another humanitarian disaster in the region.

Drought conditions in Somalia and parts of Ethiopia and Kenya are being compared to those of the early 1990s, when famine claimed more than 300,000 lives.

In the past, al-Shabab banned aid agencies from entering into its territory, saying they could host spies or promote an un-Islamic way of life. The militant group also said food aid creates dependency.

Last year, the United Nations World Food Program suspended operations in parts of Somalia because of threats and extortion demands from al-Shabab.

 Only responsible thing to do if you don't have the access to food markets to feed the people, even when it contradicts everything they have been preaching for years.

AUN all those who have already died due to the political ambitions of TFG & Shebab.
