Ultimate dua thread.
I am not a religious person and one wouldn't call me holly, but I believe only allah can help Somalia. So please add your duas as well as your ameens for somalia. May allah help the children on the verge of death. May allah help the elders whose might faded away long ago, therefore cannot make living. May allah help the mothers who quietly watch their children die knowing they cannot do anything to help. May allah help the ones in dadaab camp, and the ones that are getting shelled at in muqdisho. May allah bring peace and security to Somalia. May allah make its people those who rule/learn and understand by the pen instead of by the gun. May allah restore law and order to Somalia. May allah change Somalia for the good. ameen.

Ameen!!!
And may Allah answer the cries of the mothers and children in those camps.
may Allah answers the prayers of the silent majority.
may Allah's curse fail upon the parasites al-shabab and their supporters.
may Allah give respite to those that suffered the most in the endless violence and everything that came with it.
And may Allah remove the incompetent president and his cronies and see them into the raging fury and fumes of hell.

Ammin to your duas. What intrigues me is how little attention this thread got. I guess Somali people are not only stingy with their money, but with their duas as well.

Somalis in general seem to shy away from raising their hands and making Du'a even in mosques. Compare to our fellow Asians (pakistanis and Bengalis) Somalis can learn a thing or two on how to make Du'a. Especialy Bengali brothers can teach a brother how to cry, and mean really cry. lol
I am always fascinated by the different ways brothers make Du'a in the mosque, from one who cup his hands very close to his face to a brother holding his arms stretched out in front of him head raised and remain for what seem like ages, to the typical Somali who raise his arms wide apart for two second and up and went.
If this was a curse topic it would have been flooded by now.

Out of that long, censuring paragraph of yours, I failed to find the word amin. Hargaysa, Amin to your dua as well bro.

Re: Ultimate dua thread.
Amiin to all
Kufsade......First May Allah (swt) give you a proper name. Cos this one is disturbing and hard to take you seriously.
May Allah (swt) ease the suffering of our people.
May Allah (saw) ease the suffering of mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers in these difficult times.
May Allah (swt) forgive all our sins and all the injustice we have committed as a nation.
May Allah (swt) bring back his beautiful deen to our lands
May Allah (swt) make it ease for us to follow and rule by his RULE alone.
May Allah (swt) have is rain that will benefit us
I always secretly wanted to start a non-profit organisation in Somalia and the name would be ‘Dua for Somalia’. Where I would go to each region and start a school where Islamic and non-islamic education available for all and a lot of dua’s and forgiveness would entail. Inshallah we will see what the future holds.

Re: Ultimate dua thread.
Honestly, I was just thinking of that idea and how progressive of a step it would be considering it's properly managed. Inshallah, someday I will.XaliimoFarax wrote:Amiin to all
