A somewhat true story
There was a fat kid who was fat. One day, he gets into an argument with a girl and she challenges him to a race in front of a school yard full of kids. The fat kid agrees to the race and they take it to the tracks. The girl had done two laps before the fat kid had lifted one fat leg off the ground. All the children in the school yard were hooting and hollering at the spectacle. Five years later, The fat kid catches sick. The sickness saps the fatness out of him. Another ten years go by and the formerly fat kid is now a man, lean and fast. One day, he runs into that same girl who got the best of him, she's now a beautiful young woman, they think back to their days over a cup of coffee. The coffee date turns into another and then a movie and a dinner. A year later, they're still together, husband and wife. The man, used to a sedentary and domesticated lifestyle, slowly lets the pounds creep back in...Meanwhile the wife is pregnant...One sunny afternoon, they're sitting in the yard and the man thinks that he can even the score, They're both sporting a nice round belly, They agree to another race. He thought he'd record the event for posterity...Well here's what happened.
A few more years and they now have a little girl. On a particular weekend, they're sitting around the living room with friends and family. They're watching the race of the pot bellies and they're having a good time but the man is brooding. He begs the wife for yet another opportunity to redeem himself. She says she'll give him the chance to get the monkey off his back, if he manages to qualify to her level, by beating their daughter to a foot race...Here's how that went

I was quite a little dhuc in my younger days and some half white half somali girl beat me in a race in front of my whole class. I was able to lose the weight through a personal trainer called mosquito who drilled me on an extreme malaria program but I never forgot that girl. What I wouldn't give to run into her today, she's probably fat by now

KingMJ, I found one that lets me win sometimes
Alpha, I wouldn't even know what to say If I saw her now. I'd be crazy awkward.

Re: A somewhat true story
Yes brother Gats, ceebtii meeshaa iga raacday, the ram that was slaughtered on my birth was rolling in its grave...I was trying my hardest but the race wasn't even close, Adding insult to injury, the gym teacher who happened to pass by remarked "mais tu ne courrais pas, tu te promenais" (you were not running, you were strolling).
Ciyaal warta, tell me saaxib have you ever been bullied by a girl, runta hada
